The May meeting of the Upper
Frederick Township Planning Commission was called to order by the Chairman at 7:00 PM. Attending were Robert
Young, Chairman; Jay Discianni, Vice-Chairman; Roger Dietrich, Planning Commission Member; William O'Donnell,
Planning Commission Member; Randy Wampole, Planning Commission Member; Norm Ulrich, Township Engineer; Kenn Picardi,
Township Solicitor; Tracy Tackett, Township Planner; Jackie Tallon, Township Manager; Sherry Zawada, Administrative
Assistant; and one resident in the audience.
Approval of
Minutes
Mr. Wampole made a motion to approve
the Minutes from the April 30, 2009 Planning Commission meeting. Mr. Discianni seconded the motion and it
passed unanimously.

Ms. Tallon stated that this plan,
submitted by THP (which is in bankruptcy), expires on June 29, 2009 and that Mr. Allebach researched this matter and
found that the plan can be rejected. Mr. Young made a motion recommending the rejection of the Edgehill
subdivision plan based upon the deficiencies cited in the most recent and current copy of LTL's review letter,
dated June 27, 2006. The LTL review letter states that the plan does not conform to the sections of the Upper
Frederick Township Code of Ordinances as listed below:

Lords & Ladies Salon -

Mr. Ulrich stated that he has
scheduled a meeting for the week of June 1, 2009 with Jason O'Connell of All County Associates, engineer for
Lords & Ladies Salon, to discuss the proposed pervious parking lot.
Camp Laughing Waters -
Expires 7/13/09
Ms. Tallon stated that a boundary and
topographic survey submission was received on May 21, 2009 from Langan Engineering for Camp Laughing Waters.
This submission is being reviewed by Norm Ulrich, Township Engineer, and Tracy Tackett, Township Planner.

Business
Riparian Buffer
Ordinance
Ms. Tackett stated that a draft of
the ordinance amendment for riparian requirements will be prepared and sent to the County.
CPVRPC
Ms. Tackett stated that a discussion
took place at the May 11, 2009 meeting concerning regional industrial issues. Ms. Tackett also stated that
Montgomery County prepared a regional industrial zoning map for review by the Upper Frederick Township Planning
Commission. The Planning Commission reviewed this map and stated that they are not interested in expanding the
industrial district at this time and that they are comfortable with the continuing care residential community
process.

the meeting at 7:17 PM. Mr. Discianni seconded and the meeting was adjourned.
