"By order of Fire Marshal, a burn ban is in effect until further notice."
We have recently been notified that a "Security Notification" has been circulated within the Perkiomen Crossing Community with specific regard to a recent series of break-ins and thefts. Please be advised that although the bulletin contains information from the State Police, it was circulated by a resident and not the State Police.
After speaking with the State Police this afternoon (6/29), I am pleased to be able to report that they believe that they have apprehended all of the suspects in these incidents, and recovered if not all, the vast majority of the stolen property. To that end, the State Police will be providing the township with pictures of the stolen property, as well as procedural information to be used in reclaiming the stolen items. We expect to have this information posted here on the website by early the week of July 5th.
